Faye and Ray Copeland were an innocent looking farm couple in Missouri. Thanks to a tip from a drifter who worked as a hired hand for the Copeland's, police were able to discover what was becoming of other, less fortunate drifters the Copeland's hired during the 80's.

This book is an easy read about some real interesting and unusual characters. The crabby old Ray was a crafty killer. We can only guess at how involved his wife was.

This case is an interesting departure from the usual true crimes.
